Scott Carlson joined our company in 2011. He volunteers on the board of the Merryspring Nature Center and for the Midcoast Maine Chapter of the New England Mountain Bike Association. He lives in Union.
Meesha joined Allen in 2006. A people person, she enjoys meeting with clients and working with them to meet their insurance needs.
In 2013, Meesha earned the of Accredited Customer Service Representative (ACSR) designation from the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America; she has been licensed to sell life insurance in Maine since 2016.
Active with the Maine Young Agents Committee, which is part of the Maine Insurance Agents Association, Meesha was named MIAA's Young Professional of the Year in 2017. She has earned the Safeco Insurance Award of Excellence for superior underwriting skill for six consecutive years, most recently in 2020. Also in 2022, Meesha earned the Certified Professional Insurance Agent (CPIA) designation from the American Insurance Marketing and Sales Society.
A graduate of Medomak Valley High School, Meesha lives in Hope, where, outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family.
Lori Mank joined Allen in 1996. A native of Owls Head, she and her family live in Warren. Lori enjoys meeting the challenge of finding the best insurance package to meet a client's needs and cites her co-workers as an important benefit to her job. When she's not at work, chances are she's enjoying the Maine outdoors, fishing, camping or snowmobiling with her family.
Leann, a Notary Public, has worked with many of Allen's personal insurance customers since 2007. She holds the Accredited Customer Service Representative® and Certified Professional Insurance agent designations.
In 2021, she was named a Safeco® Producer of the Year in personal insurance, a honor earned by only 110 insurance professionals in the U.S.
Leann lives in Waldoboro. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family.
A specialist in insurance for municipalities, non-profits and technology-based businesses, Joanne enjoys the challenge of making an invisible product visible.
Joanne is well known for her local volunteer work for the City of Rockland and serves on the board of Friends of the Strand, the non-profit organization which operates the historic Strand Theatre in Rockland.
Joanne and her husband live in Rockland.
Jaime joined our company in 2017. She has earned both the Accredited Customer Service Representative and Certified Professional Insurance Agent designations.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time crafting, hiking and cooking with friends and family. A resident of Warren, Jaime has two amazing daughters who are involved in many activities inside and outside of school.
Heidi has nearly 40 years of experience in the insurance industry, including eight years with Allen from 2000-2008. After serving as Senior Underwriter in Risk Management Services for the Maine Municipal Association, she rejoined our company in the spring of 2015.
In addition to her education and experience in commercial insurance, Heidi has been recognized for her customer service skills, receiving an Outstanding Customer Service Representative of Maine award presented by the Governors of the Societies of Certified Insurance Counselors and Certified Insurance Service Representatives.
Deb McDonald joined Allen's business insurance division in 1995. She enjoys the detail, constant changes and challenges of working in our industry. In February 2018, she earned an Accredited Customer Service Representative in Commercial Lines from the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America. She earned the Certified Insurance Counselor designation in May 2022.
Outside of work, Deb enjoys volunteering in her community, especially when she can use her sewing skills or offer her enthusiasm for leading martial arts classes.
Anna started her career in insurance in 2005, but went on to work in the non-profit sector with a focus on public health and advocacy. She returned to insurance in 2012 when she joined our company and has been able to apply many of the skills she learned working in advocacy to the work she does at Allen Insurance. In June 2022, she became a licensed life & health insurance consultant in Maine.
As a way of giving back to the community she loves, Anna is serving on the board of the Maine Women’s Network and has enjoyed helping women leverage their careers through the opportunities provided by this organization.
Anna is a Thomaston native and lives with her husband and two children in her hometown. Outside of work, she enjoys camping and traveling with her family and beloved Boston Terrier, Tillie.
