Karen started her insurance career in 2006 after working in the retail field for many years. Karen is a graduate of Westbrook College and lives in Waterville. She enjoys outdoor activities, traveling, reading, and hanging out with family and friends.
Bill works with a variety of commercial insurance accounts and specializes in working with businesses in the farm and cannabis sectors. He holds the Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) designation. He started his insurance career with GHM Agency in Waterville in 2011 and became an employee-owner when GHM joined Allen in 2021.
Bill and his wife own a horse farm in Vassalboro, where they live with their three children. Bill grew up in Waterville and graduated from the University of Maine in Farmington.
Jen began her career with our company in 2004 as a receptionist and then moved into the Quality Management department. She holds a Certified Insurance Sales Representative (CISR) designation. .Jen graduated from Kennebec Valley Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science. In her free time, she enjoys camping with her husband and five Labrador Retrievers and spending time with her two children and three grandchildren.
Debbie began her career in insurance in 1987, joined GHM Agency in Waterville in 2000 and is now a proud employee-owner at Allen Insurance and Financial. She is an active member of Life Church in Norridgewock where she is the church secretary. Debbie likes to spend time with her family and friends. In her spare time, she likes to crochet and read.
In 2021, Mary changed careers after many years in the mental healthcare field. In her time off from work she enjoys camping, reading and spending time with friends and family which include three children and two granddaughters.
Gaye started working at our office in Waterville in 2003. She holds the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation and her experience helps her provide top-notch support to our entire team.
Gaye and her husband have three grown children, six grandchildren and two cats. She has bowled on a weekly fun league for many years and bowls yearly in a regional tournament in Vermont. She and her husband are beekeepers.
With our company since 2000, Martha is passionate about her work and enjoys providing clients with holistic service for their insurance and risk management needs. She holds the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Certified Risk Manager (CRM) and Certified Personal Risk Manager (CPRM) designations.
When not at work, Martha is camping or out exploring the State of Maine with her family & friends.
Wendy graduated from Thomas College with a bachelor's degree in accounting. She joined our team in 1993 and she loves her job. Wendy maintains the Certified Insurance Service Representative designation.
Outside of the office, Wendy enjoys scrap-booking, camping, fishing and going to plays and musicals. "Grease" and "The Wizard of Oz" are among her favorites. Since the pandemic, Wendy has taken up acrylic painting as a hobby.
Diane's career with our company began in 1998. She's our designated claims specialist, providing a valuable service to our customers and our team. Diane holds the Accredited Customer Service Representative (ACSR) and Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designations.
Her favorite season is summer as she enjoys the beach, the pool and traveling to new places.
Linda has been working in the insurance industry since 2003. She has an outgoing personality which is a great asset for customer service.
In her free time, Linda enjoys summers poolside or in Rockwood enjoying Moosehead Lake.
