Brittany Morse joined our company in August 2024 as a scanning associate at our Camden office, and she’s been hitting the ground running ever since.

In February 2025, she earned her Property & Casualty insurance license. Though new to insurance, Brittany’s background in customer service gives her a strong foundation, and she’s excited to continue learning and growing her career with us.

Her secret to staying on top of things? Staying organized!

When she’s not at work, Brittany can be found with her hands in the dirt she’s passionate about gardening, whether it’s house plants, veggies, or flowers. Her bucket list includes having an adventure in every state in the U.S.

With five years of insurance industry know-how and a background as a high school counselor, she brings a warm, welcoming energy to our team.

She strives to brighten someone’s day with a smile and a friendly greeting before directing people to the service and support they need.

Kirsten graduated from the University of Maine at Farmington and holds her Maine Property & Casualty license.

Outside of work, Kirsten loves spending time with her family, getting creative with her hands through knitting, crocheting, coloring, and painting, and whipping up baked goods—scones are her favorite!

Jessica Sanborn joined Allen in May 2024.

A licensed life and health producer in the state of Maine, Jess is an account manager in our benefits division, serving the needs of our group health insurance clients.

A graduate of the University of Maine in Orono, Jess holds a degree in mechanical engineering. Jess spent a decade working in loss control at Acadia Insurance and in human resources at a local medical center. Both experiences position her well for her role at Allen.

Jess enjoys helping clients navigate the complexities of their health insurance plans and is grateful to be part of the Allen team.

Outside of work, Jess enjoys crocheting and can make a mean chicken pot pie. On her bucket list is to attend the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas.

Debbie Tyler joined Allen Insurance and Financial in September 2024 as our human resources manager. Based in Camden, she is the point person for company benefits, payroll, employee health and safety and onboarding.

A native of Rockland, Debbie is a graduate of the University of Maine in Augusta with a bachelor’s degree in social science. She held previous leadership positions in both childcare and human resources. She holds her SHRM-CP certification from the society of Human Resources Management. Debbie is a seasoned HR professional whose background is well suited to support Allen’s continued growth.

Debbie shares: “I like to support people and create a positive workplace culture. I enjoy the variety of tasks and never knowing what my day will bring.”

Outside of work, Debbie enjoys spending time with her family and creating homemade greeting cards.

Lily Schoonover joined Allen Insurance and Financial in 2024 as a financial services coordinator.

A native of Washington, D.C., Lily graduated magna cum laude from Byrn Mawr College in Pennsylvania with a degree in urban planning and architecture. She lives in Rockland.

She says: “Financial planning can be very daunting and complicated, and it's wonderful getting to support our advisors in helping people make sense of their current situation and chart a course for the future. I find that my work is not just intellectually stimulating, but personally rewarding.”

Lily loves being outdoors – hiking, camping, gardening – as well as completing sewing and embroidery projects for friends and family. On her bucket list is visiting all 50 states – she’s at 39 and counting.

Kristen holds the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation.

She is a graduate of Rockland District High School (now known as Oceanside) and the New England School of Communications.

Outside of work, Kristen enjoys kayaking, spending time with family and attending her son’s school and extracurricular events. She is a library volunteer and member of the board of the Gibbs Library – the community library in Washington where she lives with her husband, son and their two cats, Skywalka and Perry Winkle.

Melissa Davenport joined our company as an account manager in January 2023. Sharp-eyed clients might recognize her name from a stint with GHM Agency (as our Waterville office was previously known), from 2005 to 2019.

Melissa has nearly two decades of insurance industry experience, having worked as a workers compensation adjuster in Connecticut and for GHM once before, also as an account manager in the business insurance division. She maintains both the Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designations.

Because she enjoys getting to know her clients and the new challenges each day brings when you work in our industry, Melissa is glad to be working at Allen Insurance and Financial.

Melissa is a graduate of Ashford University in Clinton, Iowa, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in behavioral science. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, listening to music, traveling and camping.
