Chris Wilson, with Allen since 1998, has almost 40 years of experience in the insurance industry. She has been licensed to sell insurance in Maine since 1996 and in 2016 she earned her Maine life insurance license.
Chris lives in Warren with her husband and son. In her spare time, she enjoys boating and hiking and spending time with family.
Chris Richmond is an able-bodied seaman and former schooner captain. He holds a USCG 100-ton Near Coastal Masters license and AB with sail endorsement. He has captained the schooners Roseway, Appledore II, Mercantile and Mistress and was chief mate aboard the schooners New Way and Bill of Rights.
As a licensed insurance producer in Maine who joined our agency in 2011, Chris now works with his colleagues in Maine and elsewhere to help manage the risks and safety challenges he knows so well.
Chris is native of Harvard, Mass., and a graduate of The American University in Washington, D.C., and The Landing School of Boat Building and Design of Arundel, Maine. Chris is a past member of the board of directors of the Maine Marine Trades Association.
In May 2022, Chris earned the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation, one of the insurance industry’s most highly respected designations. Chris also holds both the Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) and the Certified Marine Insurance Professional (CMIP) designations.
Carolyn joined our company in 2001 after 10 years at another local insurance agency. She earned her Accredited Customer Service Representative in Personal Lines from the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America in 2017.
A resident of Camden, Carolyn has two adult daughters of whom she is very proud and a Shih Tzu who is not shy about asking for attention.
When she is not at work, Carolyn enjoys spending time with friends and family. Carolyn counts herself as a lifelong fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots.
Cale joined Allen Insurance and Financial in December 2012. Previously a commercial and personal insurance specialist with Atlantic Insurance and Benefits in Belfast, Cale is a graduate of Mt. View High School in Thorndike and of Hamilton College in Clinton, N.Y.
Prior to his insurance industry experience, Cale worked in the securities industry in New York City and in advertising and sales in both New York and St. Thomas, USVI.
Cale and his wife Marisa decided they wanted to raise their family in Maine, where he grew up; they live in Lincolnville with their two young children. Cale is active with area youth sports and is President of the Board of Trustees of Maine Preservation, the statewide, member-based historic preservation organization. He is past president of the board of directors at Midcoast Habitat for Humanity in Rockport.
Brandy brings hands-on experience to the challenges faced by our clients responsible for human resource issues and their company's health insurance plans. Brandy joined our company in 2007 and is licensed as a life and health producer. She was an account manager in the benefits division before being named director in 2024.
Brandy is a graduate of Husson College where she studied business administration.
Abe works with individuals, families, business and non-profit organizations providing investment management, risk management and financial planning services aligned with helping them to meet their financial goals. He joined our company in 2015 and in 2024 was named the Director of Investment Management.
A native of Lincolnville, Abe is a graduate of Camden Hills Regional High School and Babson College in Wellesley, Mass., where he majored in business management with a concentration in finance. He holds FINRA Series 66 and 7 securities licenses and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.
Abe worked in the financial services industry in the Boston area for almost 10 years before returning home to Midcoast Maine in 2015. Prior to joining Allen Insurance and Financial, he was Director of U.S. Investment Operations for C|A overseeing a department of 45 staff in four offices serving more than 300 foundation, endowment, pension, and private wealth clients. He also worked for nearly two years at Fidelity Charitable, the largest donor advised fund in the U.S.
Outside of work, Abe enjoys all the Midcoast has to offer with his family, from the ocean and hiking trails to the museums and restaurants. He currently serves as Treasurer of the Board of Directors for Five Town Little League, is a founding member of the Rotary Club of West Bay Satellite, serves on the Finance Committee for Midcoast Habitat for Humanity, and coaches youth sports locally. Abe, his wife, Anna, and their son live in Camden.
