Open Enrollment for 2023:
Nov. 1, 2022 to Jan. 15, 2023

Between Oct. 15 and Nov. 1, you should be receiving your renewal offer from your current insurer advising you on the 2023 pricing and changes in your plan design.

We encourage our clients to go to their CoverME.gov account to confirm that the information on file for your estimated income for 2022 will match with your 2023 estimated income because this will directly affect your subsidy/tax credit you receive for the coming year.

If the information remains the same and you’re happy with your plan and rate, you can let it renew on its own or actively shop your options during the open enrollment period that runs from Nov. 1, 2022 to Jan. 15, 2023. The individual-market premiums in Maine will increase by an average of 11.4 percent in 2023.

CoverMe.gov is allowing consumers to compare plans ahead of time, beginning Oct. 15. On the website, select “get started” and then “compare plans.”

If you need assistance with your renewal, our individual health insurance team provides service by appointment (either by phone or via Zoom) so be sure to call to book an appointment.
