Kristin Alley joined our company in March 2025. She came to Allen with 10 years’ experience as a licensed Maine insurance agent, along with administrative and client relations experience at both a medical clinic and an eldercare facility in Vinalhaven. She is a graduate of the University of Maine in Machias, where she studied business and accounting.
Kristin brings a friendly, thoughtful approach to every client conversation and enjoys the shared sense of responsibility and support that comes from collaborating with her fellow co-owners at Allen.

Jessica joined Allen Insurance and Financial in January 2025.
With more than 17 years of experience in sales and customer service, Jessica is a natural fit for working with the company’s business insurance clients – especially since her favorite productivity trick is staying organized.
Outside of work, you can find Jessica spending time with her family – game nights are a favorite – and doing arts & crafts with her children.

Nick Pucello joined Allen Insurance and Financial in January 2025 after a successful career on the water as a yacht and tugboat captain.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in small vessel operations as well as a master’s degree in international logistics management from Maine Maritime Academy. Additionally, Nick holds a 1,600-ton USCG masters license and a property & casualty insurance license in the state of Maine.
Nick’s extensive experience in the marine industry makes him a perfect fit for his new position at Allen. “I love connecting with people in my network of marine professionals and building new relationships. Problem solving and helping people tackle challenging issues is something I really enjoy,” says Nick.
Beyond his professional life, Nick has a passion for travel with his wife, and their dog Fig. When not working, you can find Nick pursuing his outdoor hobbies which include surfing, kiteboarding, and mountain biking.
Melissa Davenport, CIC, AAI

Melissa Davenport joined our company as an account manager in January 2023. Sharp-eyed clients might recognize her name from a stint with GHM Agency (as our Waterville office was previously known), from 2005 to 2019.
Melissa has nearly two decades of insurance industry experience, having worked as a workers compensation adjuster in Connecticut and for GHM once before, also as an account manager in the business insurance division. She maintains both the Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designations.
Because she enjoys getting to know her clients and the new challenges each day brings when you work in our industry, Melissa is glad to be working at Allen Insurance and Financial.
Melissa is a graduate of Ashford University in Clinton, Iowa, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in behavioral science. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, listening to music, traveling and camping.

Laura is a native of Winslow and a graduate of Thomas College in Waterville. Her insurance career started in 2000 and she works with some of our agency’s largest commercial accounts.
Laura holds the Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designations.
When not at work, Laura volunteers in her community and enjoys spending time in the Maine outdoors.

Bill works with a variety of commercial insurance accounts and specializes in working with businesses in the farm and cannabis sectors. He holds the Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) designation. He started his insurance career with GHM Agency in Waterville in 2011 and became an employee-owner when GHM joined Allen in 2021.
Bill and his wife own a horse farm in Vassalboro, where they live with their three children. Bill grew up in Waterville and graduated from the University of Maine in Farmington.
