Designations

Jaime Hannan, ACSR, a member of the personal insurance team at Allen Insurance and Financial, has earned the Certified Professional Insurance Agent designation from the American Insurance Marketing and Sales Society.

The CPIA designation emphasizes critical skills in insurance underwriting, coverages marketing and client services.

Hannan holds an Accredited Customer Service representative (ACSR) designation.  A personal insurance assistant based in Rockland, she joined Allen in 2017.

Theresa Mitchell, a business  insurance account manager  at Allen Insurance and Financial,  recently achieved the designation of Accredited Customer Service Representative in Commercial  Lines from The Institutes, an insurance education organization.

Mitchell joined Allen in 2016. She is based in our company’s Southwest Harbor  office.

ACSR courses  help insurance professionals advance their skills, build knowledge and stay ahead of evolving trends so they can better serve their customers. Allen Insurance and Financial encourages all of the company’s employee-owners to include continuing education as part of their professional development goals.

Amy Bowen, AAI, ACSR, CPIA

Amy Bowen, AAI, ACSR, a member of the  business  insurance team at Allen Insurance and Financial, has earned the Certified Professional Insurance Agent designation from the American Insurance Marketing and Sales Society.

The CPIA designation emphasizes critical skills in insurance underwriting, coverages marketing and client services.

Bowen also holds an Accredited Adviser in Insurance and an Accredited Customer Service representative (ACSR) designation. She joined Allen in 2013.

Chris Richmond, AAI, CMIP

Chris Richmond, a member of the business insurance team at Allen Insurance and Financial, has earned the designation of Certified Insurance Counselor, one of the insurance industry’s most highly respected designations.

“CICs are recognized for expertise and commitment to the industry and it is no surprise this is a designation Chris has chosen to pursue,” said Michael Pierce, president of Allen Insurance and Financial. “A CIC designation is a benefit to Chris, to his clients and to everyone at our agency.”

Based at Allen’s office in Camden, Richmond  works with a range of business insurance clients,  specializing in marine-related industries.

He also holds the  Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) and the Certified Marine Insurance Professional (CMIP) designations.

The Certified Insurance Counselor program is maintained by the National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research. Earning the designation is just a first step on a path of rigorous, annual continuing education.
